Bonifay Fire Department

Bonifay Fire-Rescue is an ISO 5 volunteer fire department serving 94 square miles of Holmes County, primarily the city limits of Bonifay, under the leadership of Chief Travis Cook.

We strive to uphold our mottos in everything we do. "Pride Protecting People" - "Service Over Self"

Bonifay Fire-Rescue operates out of Station 1 located at 809 S Waukesha St. Our apparatuses include Engine 1, Tanker 1, Ladder 1, Attack 1, Brush 1, Squad 1, UTV 1, and Pumper 1.

We are comprised of a roster with 21 volunteers. We currently have 9 State of Florida certified Firefighter II's, and 5 certified Firefighter I's.  We also have 2 Paramedics and 8 EMT's. We respond to a multitude of call types including structure fires, motor vehicle crashes, medical calls, and storm damage.
